Double Peak Recovery provides structured substance use disorder treatment in San Diego County for individuals seeking support at different stages of recovery. Our levels of care are designed to help clients safely begin treatment, stabilize, and continue building the tools needed for long-term recovery. Services may include withdrawal management, residential treatment, clinical support, recovery education, relapse-prevention planning, discharge planning, and coordination of care based on each client’s assessed needs. Located in the San Diego area, Double Peak Recovery offers a supportive, recovery-oriented environment where clients can receive individualized care and begin working toward lasting wellness.
Medical Detox
Coastal Detox is a Joint Commission accredited medical detox facility. We specialize in treating complex medical cases, including detox during pregnancy, and multi-substance addiction and dependence. Our goal is to safely and comfortably manage the physical withdrawal process from drugs and alcohol, so patients are ready to transition to rehab therapy.

Medication Management
We utilize FDA-approved medications to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings, ensuring maximum comfort and safety.

Detox typically lasts 5-10 days, depending on the substance used and individual needs.
Multi-substance Detox
We help patients detox from any combination of opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, cannabis, hallucinogens, stimulants, and/or sedatives.

Our villa-style Pacific Beach residence is a quiet escape from the demands of daily life, allowing patients to prioritize their rest and recovery during the withdrawal phase.
Insurance Accepted
We accept most major insurance providers. Private-pay and financing plans are also available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept MediCaid and Medi-Cal at this time
